In order to meet the needs of today's rapidly changing inspection industry, this 40-hour course is designed to train individuals who are interested in obtaining the API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector Certification, as well as inspectors, engineers, constructors or maintenance and purchasing personnel who are simply seeking a better understanding of the construction or inspection code requirements.

The Tank Inspection Course is a two-phase educational experience. The student receives the instruction necessary to pass the exam, as well as insight into the intricacies of "real world" situations. Included with the course is a hard-bound edition of notes and summaries on the tank inspection standards referenced in the API 653 Body of Knowledge. In addition to this abridged reference book, a Continental breakfast is provided for each paid attendee.

These documents are listed as required items on the current API 653 Effectivity Sheet. ADDITIONALLY API has deleted API RP 2207 and API RP 2015 from the API 653 Inspector Certification Examination. Please be sure that ALL of the documents you intend to take to the test site match the current Effectivity Sheet EXACTLY, including edition and addenda numbers.
